Shake it up!!

Summer is finally here. Summer brings in fun for all. Be it outdoor activities, travel, vacations, BBQ’s, picnics .. the list goes on and on .. During summer cooking for me includes making cold sandwiches, fresh fruit and vegetable salads and shakes.

In this post, I will share a few recipes of shakes/smoothies that I have tried. I have added some unusual ingredients to make them different. I have heard from many people that they would prefer shakes over eating actual fruits. Well eating raw fruit is healthier, however, shakes could make it up for daily portion of fruit to some extent. Remember the magic number ‘5’ fruits or vegetables per day :).

Hope you all try these out. Send me your suggestions if you have some interesting recipes.

NOTE: For any of the following recipe if you feel that the mixture is too thick, add water or milk accordingly to adjust the consistency.
